Every now and then, on a Monday, my mind stays on music.
Nope, I don’t sing. Let me rephrase that. I shouldn’t sing.
It’s a shame, really. That I didn’t get the voice of an angel. Because I so love to sing. I wake up with a song in my head every. single. morning.
And sometimes even the Monday morning blues can’t shake the music outta my head. So, how to fit that into this 31 Day challenge? Never fear, because last year I had the pleasure of attending a performance of Uganda’s Watoto Children’s Choir while they were traveling through this part of the US of A.
I took my then 10 year old son, Little. And his socks were rocked. And so were mine. Take a little listen here.
So what is Watoto?
There are so many ways to get involved with Watoto. I urge you to look around their website. The work they do is nothing short of amazing.
Advocate for the children of Watoto by getting involved – see the choir, sponsor a life, shop their online store and tell others their story!
